/ check valves, diverter / selector / changeover valves, trailer brake valves,
power packs, cylinders and automatic gate operators. The Quality Systems at

Pedro Roquet is a family owned company and started manufacture of hydraulic components, mainly for the agricultural industry, in 1951(in fact the roots of the company go back to 1940 - see Roquet History for further information - in a 3MB PDF file). The company rapidly became the major supplier to the Spanish hydraulics market, and still is.
Roquet has four factories :
The four factories have a total production area of over 31,000 sq. m (310,000 sq.ft.).
Roquet also owns Hidro-Domestics (Hy-Dom) who market the Roquet range of linear, rotary and sliding gate actuation systems.
Manufacturing capacity has been dramatically increased and quality standards have been improved over the last 10 years to meet the volumes and requirements of the international market-place. Up-to-date CAD systems and the latest CNC machine tools and other facilities are used for design and manufacture whilst assembly and test functions are carried out in clean-room conditions, entirely separate from machining operations.
Roquet has a large Development department with substantial fatigue, noise and corrosion-resistance testing facilities backed by a well-equipped Metallurgical Laboratory which is also responsible for material approvals within the Quality System..

The product range is rather broad for a company of this size - this is due to the fact that, for many years, the Spanish market was not serviced by other suppliers, and demand existed. A wide range of pumps, mobile valves, industrial valves, motors, steering units and cylinders are produced, but the core products are: gear pumps (including cast iron), mobile valves, power packs and cylinders. Many products supplied to larger OEM customers are specially designed for their application - this is where owning a very modern foundry often gives Roquet more flexibility than some suppliers.
Current production capacity is as follows : 150,000 gear pumps (including cast-iron), 200,000 mobile valve sections, 30,000 compact power-packs and 350,000 hydraulic cylinders per year. In addition a wide range of valves for mobile and industrial applications, complete hydraulic systems and large power packs are manufactured.
